The 100 Year Guarantee is simple.

Any item made in my shop that shows a material defect or defect in craftsmanship that can be repaired, will be repaired for you at no cost except for shipping for the first 100 years after purchase.

Craftsmanship

When you purchase from my shop you are making an investment in a piece that is rugged and built to last. Every item in the shop is handcrafted on a per-order or small batch basis and checked along the way for consistency and quality. I am only human though…so if you receive an item with a defect in craftsmanship (for example: unset rivet, missing hardware, wrong color, etc..) I will work to fix the situation.

Materials

Plainly said – the materials we use in the Mr. Lentz workshop are top notch. The highest grade of leathers, the best quality stainless steels and solid brass hardware, and the finest zippers and stitching. For any material to make it into one of my designs, it has been researched, prototyped, tested and tested 100 more times. However, no material is meant to last forever (if you know of one please send me an email and I’ll incorporate it into a design). As such we cannot cover any item for wear and tear, abuse, improper use, washing, loss, or any other similar situation regarding your product. Hardware including rivets, snaps, screws, clips etc. are fully covered for the first year of use. After that, if the item is easy to repair, it will continue to be covered for repair during the entire 100 years after purchase. I am more than happy to help you get your item back up and running again. That’s my goal – to keep these items running as long as possible.

Custom requests are not covered under the guarantee due to the complicated requests we receive involving new types of leathers, hardware and design principles.

Please look over your item carefully when you receive it. Almost all material defects will present themselves immediately within the first week of use.

Exceptions

Wear and tear, abuse, improper use, washing, loss, or any other similar situation regarding your product. We also cannot cover stitching or zipper issues that have not been reported within the first week or so of use. That said… again we will fix an item if it is still reasonably repairable.
