This leather holster for Glock Handguns is built in the Avenger style, helping to keep it snug against your hip. Each one is made to custom fit the exact Glock model and generation of gun that you own. It is worlds apart from the holsters you might find in larger retail shops. Mine are all made on a per order basis using the fines U.S. full grain leather and double stitched where it needs it most. The fit is very tight and they can be broken in to your preferred level of retention.
This product is no longer available as a custom built item. It is only be available for Glock 19 and Glock 17 models. Unfortunately I cannot take any custom requests or build it to suit any other Glock model, or any other brand of gun. Thanks!
Using a process developed over months of testing, this holster is wet formed to the specific Glock model you choose, baked into shape, and hot-wax hardened to a level of durability you have likely never seen in leather goods. It has a uniquely rigid feel while still being flexible and comfortable to wear. Most other manufacturers rely on a slim coat of clear acrylic to help temporarily stiffen a holster. That wears out fairly quickly and re-application is a tedious and costly process (typically the holster just gets chucked). By hot-wax hardening my line of holsters, the wax penetrates deep into the leather and creates an armor similar to that used in shields and protective gear during the middle ages. That fact plus the reinforcement panel keeps the mouth of the holster open wide for easy one-handed re-holstering. This OWB Glock holster is designed to stay tight and close on the hip by using the built in belt loop directly behind the frame of the weapon. I use the industry's best U.S. full grain leather (with the tightest fiber count high on the back of the hide). Featuring a full wet-formed sight channel and nicely finished edges. It'll fit very thick belts up to 1.5" wide (check out my current gun belts here).
By design, this holster comes with a built in 15 degree forward cant (also known as the FBI cant), and allows for a full combat grip while still in the holster. HOLSTER FIT:
This holster will be custom wet molded to fit your model of Glock. It is designed to be a very tight fit so that you can break in the holster to your desired retention setting. The reinforcement piece stitched on the outside helps keep the mouth of the holster stiff over time, although the current build method of wet forming, baking and hot wax hardening will keep your holster very firm for the longrun.
(Not currently Available) THUMB BREAK OPTION:
This option helps retain your Glock in the holster using a strap around the butt end of the slide and snapping shut. I designed the snap release using a hidden steel plate that will keep the area rigid for the lifetime of the holster. This allows you to easily unsnap the strap with a short flick of your thumb in a downward motion. The design of the thumb break keeps the strap as short as possible to allow for an easier draw. The back of the snap on the strap is covered with a plastic insert to prevent any scratching of the gun’s surface. The other end of the snap is countersunk into the leather to keep it out of the way.
(Not currently Available) TENSION SCREW:
The tension screw option allows you to adjust the retention of the firearm for an easier or more robust draw. You can also use it over time to tighten the retention level.
BELT ANGLE:
This holster is built with a standard forward cant of 15 degrees. This is an approximation and is meant to mimic the standard ‘FBI cant’ made for easier draw.
Other Details:
Due to how the wax penetrates and forms within the leather fibers, if parts of the Saddle Brown or Russet holsters are bent significantly you may notice a ripple-like look within the leather. This is not noticeable in the Black color. It is most apparent in the thumb break strap and, over time, in the extended belt slot. This is simply the wax crystals flexing and dividing and causes a lightening of the leather in those specific areas. It will in no way affect the durability of the holster, and you can actually reset the crystals (in the case of accidentally sitting on an empty holster for example), by using a heat gun on low heat and slowly heating the surface of the empty holster until the wax rejoins itself. Careful not to over-heat or scorch.
COLOR OPTIONS:
Saddle Brown: This color varies from a lighter brown to a medium one. The color can vary from piece to piece so please keep that in mind. We shoot for the color shown in the images though. Over time it will develop a rich patina the more you use it.
(Not currently Available) Russet: A darker brown with a reddish hue. This will also patina over time, but it may not darken as much with handling. This color also can vary piece to piece.
(Not currently Available) Black: A nice sleek option especially if you buff the holster often.

Please note that we only use the best Full-Grain leather in our shop and it is tooled by hand. This means there may be the occasional natural scar or marking that occurred during the cow’s lifetime, as well as some subtle tooling marks and marks from the sewing machine and hand tools. It’s just a testament to the hand-worked leather. Colors may vary from the photos due to the dye and finish process used.
