New Western Belt Design

Introducing the Western Ridge Belt – a new design to hit the shop that was inspired by the majestic mesas of the American Southwest. This belt features a rugged yet refined look that’ll work with just about any outfit. I build them to fit your specific order, so it’s a custom fit – not something you can get at any big department store. There’s a lot of leather in this belt, three distinct layers of U.S. Full Grain leather of the highest grade. It’s slim and strong at the same time. These belts are available in a 1.5″ width here and a 1.75″ width here.

<h2>How Are These Belts Made?</h2>

The Western Ridge belts goes through about 21 distinct steps before it is ready to ship out to you. The process includes cutting out the initial raw strap from a large piece of hide, separately measuring all the layers, gluing, trimming, stitching, sanding, beveling, slicking the edges and waxing and polishing the edge to a nice glossy shine. It’s a very time intensive process and it makes for a belt that quite possibly could be the last you will ever need…until I come out with a new color option!

The belt shown above is the 1.5 inch style and it sits comfortably on the hip. I have several buckle options to choose from and all are a solid brass base metal with optional nickel plated finish or raw brass. The 1.5 inch belts also have a black PVD coated finish a shown below. PVD coatings are a type of specialty coating over the brass that is very durable, which is a big benefit on the black color option.

The backside of all Western Ridge belts are lined with a natural tan un-dyed lining. This helps prevent your pants from any potential dye rub off.

The current colors available are my standard Sun Tanned Natural on top, Western Brown in the middle, and Desert Night Dark on the bottom.

As a final touch I also include a free tin of my in shop made all natural leather conditioner ‘Spiff N Shine’. This stuff works magic on all vegetable tanned leather goods – it’ll keep it in great shape in the longrun.
